Bruce Allen Forsman was born on October 26, 1966, in Billings, Montana. He was raised in Anaconda, where he attended Anaconda High School and participated in track and shooting club. Following graduation, Bruce attended Montana Tech for one year before continuing his education at Montana State University–Northern for three years.
After college, Bruce spent a year and a half working as a ranch hand at the P Bar B Ranch in Lincoln, Montana. Wanting to put his education and technical skills to use, he moved to Bath, Maine, where he worked for Bath Iron Works Corporation as an Electrical Designer and Draftsman. During his time there, Bruce helped design electrical systems for naval destroyers that continue to serve and protect our country today. He took immense pride in his contributions to these projects and worked diligently to obtain top-secret security clearance. Although he enjoyed both his work and life in Maine, his love for Montana eventually brought him home.
Upon returning to Montana, Bruce assisted his parents in designing and building their retirement dream home. He later moved to Missoula, where he began working for Rawlings Manufacturing. There, he helped design and develop a large industrial crushing machine known as a "hog." After several years, when that division of the company was discontinued, Bruce moved on to Thompson Dental Manufacturing, serving as a Draftsman and Quality Control Manager.
While working at Thompson Dental, Bruce married the love of his life, Kristy Henderson of Lewistown, on October 18, 1997. Throughout his career, Bruce approached every position with dedication, integrity, and pride. He genuinely believed in the companies he worked for and always hoped each would be the place where he would spend the rest of his career.
Following his time at Thompson Dental, Bruce worked for Martin Group as an Electrical Draftsman and Software Designer. Later, he accepted a position with Profiles International as an Accounts Receivable Agent, embracing a completely new field. He enjoyed the challenge and opportunity to learn something different, but after his department was eliminated, Bruce decided to pursue self-employment. He spent his time assisting Kristy with her business, repairing computers, providing consulting services, and selling items on eBay. Unfortunately, as the years passed, his health gradually declined.
Bruce passed away on January 13, 2026, in Missoula, Montana.
Outside of work, Bruce cherished the Montana outdoors. Growing up in Anaconda, he spent countless hours camping, hunting, snowmobiling, and horseback riding with family and friends. He especially treasured the memories made on those adventures and the lifelong friendships that came from them.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Kristy Henderson Forsman; his parents, Clarence and Sharon Forsman; his aunts, Debbie Jensen and Chris Forsman; his mother-in-law, Beth Henderson of Lewistown; his brother-in-law, Troy Henderson, and family: Maria, James, and Nash Derheim; Landon, Cassidy, and Jace Henderson; Sage Henderson; and Hayden Henderson; and his sister-in-law, Mindy Henderson, and her children, Hunter Henderson and Peyton Henderson.
