Bonnie Joyce Fraser

Bonnie Joyce (Wire) Fraser peacefully passed from this life at home on January 5, 2023. She was the youngest of four children; born to Roscoe and Edythe Wire on October 31, 1930, in Fedora, South Dakota.

After graduating from Methodist State Hospital School of Nursing, she married Daniel I. Fraser on July 6, 1951 in Laverne, MN. She worked as a nurse until 1958 when she devoted herself full-time to being a housewife. Bonnie gave her life to Christ in baptism at the Cleveland Ave. Church of Christ in Sioux Falls, SD, and was faithful to the Lord until her death. Bonnie enjoyed fishing, teaching Sunday school, and making cards for loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel I. Fraser, and her siblings, Velma, Donald, and Velmer Wire.

She is survived by her children, Dan (Becky) Fraser, Bobbijo (Mark) Walters, and Paul (Annette) Fraser.

With nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren she has left a powerful impact on all our lives, showering everyone she met with a Godly example and her kind encouraging spirit. We are proud to honor her full, rich life and remember the light that she brough to our lives.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14th at Church of Christ, 1 Stumptown Rd, Anaconda, MT 59711. A graveside service will follow at New Hill Cemetery in Anaconda. In lieu of flowers memorials in honor of Bonnie are suggested to Yellowstone Bible Camp, 909 Nevada St, Belgrade, MT 59714.
