Audrey Bays Haffey

Audrey Haffey, 94, passed away on October 4, 2019 at the Anaconda Community Nursing Home with her family by her side. She was blessed with wonderful care at New Horizons and Anaconda Nursing Home and from the loving staff at Hospice of Anaconda. Audrey grew up in Harrow, London, England and was 21 when she married Joe Haffey who was stationed in England while serving in the Air Force during post WW II. The couple moved to Anaconda after a deployment in Germany. They raised six children, all of whom became educators as adults. Audrey worked at the Anaconda Florist and was known as a very talented florist. She was a past member of the Christian Women's Club, the Hospital Auxiliary and the Montana Association for the Blind. Audrey was a loving mother and grandmother (GG). She was a blessing to all who knew her. Audrey always had a smile, a hug and a kiss to share. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and caring which will be etched in our memories. Audrey is survived by her six children: Ray (Sharon) Haffey, Ron (Lil) Haffey, Connie (Terry) Sheahan, Dan Haffey, Kevin (Vicki) Haffey, Scott (Sherry) Haffey: her grandchildren Tim (Rebecca), Joe (deceased), Annie (Jeff), Aaron (Laura), Craig (Laura), Mark, Hailey (Jackie), Dan, Angie, Aubree, Jake (Tiffany) and Chris. Audrey was also blessed with great-grandchildren; Sarah (Caleb), Bridger (Jennifer), Fenmore, Bram, Atley, Tinsley, Vivi, and Gracie. Great-great grandchildren are Kloey, Klara and Briggs. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, her parents Connie and Frank, brother Cliff, sister Margie and grandson Joe. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at Longfellow Finnegan Riddle Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Holy Family Church at 10:30 a.m. in Anaconda, Montana. Memorials may be made to Anaconda Hospice, 118 E. 7th St., Ste. 1A or St. Peter's Renovation Fund, 217 W. Pennsylvania Ave., Anaconda, MT 59711. Don't be sad because Mom is gone. Be happy because she was here!
