Annie Reiss

October 25, 1916 — December 15, 2016

Annie Reiss was born Oct. 25, 1916. She passed away peacefully on Dec. 15, 2016, 100 years young. Ann as some remember used to love to go to Hardee's or McDonald's of Anaconda to have her morning coffee and read the paper. When she was able to drive, she would go visit her daughter, Betty, or take a ride to Butte or Philipsburg, or go for a ride to see Georgetown Lake or a pleasant afternoon feeding the ducks at Washoe Park. She liked gardening, sewing and family gatherings. She was an immaculate housekeeper and person. Most of all she loved to dance, and going to lunches and dinners with friends. Ann worked hard all her life and was never afraid to take on any job. Annie will be sadly missed by her daughter, Betty and husband Tom Finn; son Don Rohlf of Great Falls; several grandkids, Linda Solan of Butte, Mike and Sherri Staat of Anaconda, Doug Rohlf and Tim and Heather Rohlf of Great Falls; several great-grandkids, Dave and Jen Solan, Ryan and Shandy Solan of Butte, Michaela and Brittany Staat of Kalispell, Kilee and Kobee Rohlf of Bozeman, Matt and Whitney McKernan of Butte, Tyler and Nikita Swanson of Crosby, North Daktoa, Justin Swanson from Fayetville, N.C., and Stephan Swanson from Victor, Montana; and several great-great-grandkids, Jaida, Alaina, Eve, Jaxon and Ember Solan, Madison and Colin McKernan and Hennessy and Ezra Swanson. Lighting the way for Ann in passing were John Patrick Solan, Leslie Chandler, Shirley Finn, Nick Reiss, Colton Rohlf and so many of her greatest of friends. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Pintler Pets or a humane society near you. No services are planned at this time. A private gathering is being planned.
