Albert D. Miller

Albert D. Miller, 74, passed away on Saturday, Feb, 11th., 2017. He was born in Harvey. ND on Dec. 10th, 1942, to Alex and Christina Miller. He was raised on the farm in Orrin, ND. And then moved to Minot, ND and worked for Mackley Const. There he met and married Judy Behrens on Feb. 23rd, 1963. They moved to Anaconda, MT in 1966. He worked for the smelter until the closure and then 2 years in Butte, MT. They then moved to Helena, MT in 1983, and he worked at Carroll College. He was in Maintenance, Fleet Manager, worked on small appliances, vacuums, buffers, did plumbing, etc., and was the Maintenance Electrician. He retired in 2005. He and Judy became Snowbirds and spent winters in AZ. He is survived by his wife, Judy and children; son and daughter-in-law Marlyn and Chieko Miller and granddaughter Erika of Oak Harbor, WA, son and daughter-in-law Kenny and Kristie Miller and grandson Eli of Billings, MT, daughter and son-in-law Susan and Dean Lingelbach and granddaughter Katie and great grandson Noah and fiancé Justin and his daughter Hanna and grandson Nick of Helena, MT. Brothers and sisters-in-law Cliff and Olene of Yuma, AZ, Nathaniel (Happy) and Lorna of Hubbard, OR, and Ed and Ann of Minot, ND. Sisters and brothers-in-law Anita and Allen Kleinsasser of Rapid City, SD, Florence Pfeifer of Granville, ND and sisters-in-law Loretta Mazza of Philipsburg and Arlene Miller of Anaconda, MT, and several nephews and nieces. Albert was preceded in death by his father Alex and mother Christina, brothers Alex, Milton, Jacob, David, Lester, and Joey and sisters Alvina Shilo, Dorothy Opp, Lorraine Miller, and Esther Freelander. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Baptist Church in Anaconda. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
