Born on May 10, 1928 to Tony and Fannie Marry in Sheridan, Wyoming, she was raised and attended school in Missoula, MT. She met her husband, Henry Charles DeTonancour, and they were married on November 25, 1949. He passed away on December 2, 1974. Together they raised three sons, Don, Jerry and Boyd.
Virginia worked at several locations during her life including Galen, Warm Springs and the Anaconda Nursing Home, until health problems forced her to retire. She took great pride in the care she provided to her patients. She enjoyed camping, time spent with family, quilting, knitting and crocheting and most of all her loving dogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, nine bothers, one sister, her husband Hank and her beloved son Boyd.
Virginia is survived by her sons Don (Patsy), Jerry and her daughter-in-law Debbie DeTonancour, five grandchildren Don (Maryann), Tom (Susan), Joel (Nicole), Devin (Valerie) DeTonancour and Mandy (Bob) Blodnick, ten great grandchildren, Erin (Cody) Koontz, Madison, Meredith, Rylee, Eli, McKensie and Kendra DeTonancour, Gabe Brody and Laynee Blodnick. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
