Richard Shane Holbrook
Born July 10, 1983 to Richard and Marie (Welch) Holbrook of Anaconda, departed this earth peacefully from his residence in Butte, early Saturday March 15.
To Shane family was everything. The births of his two beautiful daughters, Aryonna and Synara brought him so much joy, and a lifetime of happy memories. No matter what he had planned for his day, he always made time for his family.
After years of facing many struggles in his adult life, this past year Shane had finally found peace and true happiness with the ever-growing relationship with the love of his life Katy Stuber. Shane and Katy were life-long friends, and in the last year built a relationship filled with so much love and happiness. They were looking forward to marriage and enjoying their lives together, not only with each other, but also by watching the sisterly bond grow between Shane's daughters Aryonna and Synara, and Katy's daughter Sierra.
Shane was an avid outdoorsman. His passions included hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, dirt biking, and camping. He learned the tile trade from his dad and became an excellent craftsman. He was always tinkering with anything mechanical. His projects weren't finished until they were done perfectly. His drive for perfection led him to one of his greatest accomplishments, obtaining his GED. He was so proud of himself for finishing his education.
We will remember Shane as a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and soul mate. Those whose lives he touched have been blessed with wonderful memories he helped create.
Shane is preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Holbrook, uncle Bruce Holbrook, and cousin Rick Storey, grandfather Bernard Welch, grandmother Helen Welch, aunt Yvonne (Welch) Dye, cousin Bryan Davies, as well as all of his great-grandparents.
He is survived by his daughters Aryonna and Synara Holbrook, parents Richard and Marie Holbrook, sisters Larissa Holbrook and Alysha (Pat) McBrien, nephew Kieran Holbrook-Borneman, fiancée Katy Stuber and her daughter Sierra, and grandmother Joyce Holbrook. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
