Raymond Leo Lujan
September 20, 1934 ~ March 21, 2018 (age 83) 83 Years Old
Be the first to offer your condolences on Raymond's Tribute Wall
Raymond Leo Lujan was gracefully received into the Lord's arms on March 21, 2018. Raymond (Ray) was born on September 20, 1934 in Saguache, Colorado, to Dave and Juanita Lujan. His journey here on earth has left a lasting impact on many, filling the memory bank of hearts with his unforgettable personality and smile that would simply light up a room. Ray was a gentle, kind, loving man who didn't hesitate to help those in need.
He loved the outdoors, fishing at Georgetown Lake with his brother-in-law Ray Kroll, taking daily outings with his close nephew Richard (Dick) Kroll and he always looked forward to visits from his granddaughter Stacey Edwards and her children.
Ray deeply loved his family and his home reflected how much he truly treasured everyone, as it was covered with countless photographs of each family member. There was always a story to be told lining the interior of his heart and he never ceased to make one laugh. He will be missed for so many reasons that words alone fall short to express, but his friends and family celebrate his life.
Ray dedicated many years of his life serving our country in the Air Force and working at the Butte mines.
Ray is survived by one daughter, Christi Edwards, granddaughter Stacey Edwards, great-grandsons Brett Campbell, Austin Nieves, Connor Nieves and Logan Nieves, one son, Tony Lujan, sister, Madeline and husband Ray Kroll, sister Pat Lujan, sister Linda and Gary Rippley, brothers, Benny Lujan and Thomas Lujan and several nieces and nephews.
Ray was proceeded in death by his parents Dave and Juanita Lujan, brother, Butch Lujan and daughter Sandra Lujan.
Military Graveside Service Rites will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Veteran's Section of New Hill Cemetery, Anaconda by the Anaconda American Legion Post #21 and the Air Force Honor Guard.
