Patricia Capp Obituary

Patty Capp, 89, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2019.

Patty was born December 25, 1929, in Butte, daughter of Francis and Marguerite (Kane) Moran. She would be one of nine Moran children.

Patty grew up in Butte and attended Butte High School. She married Ray Capp on June 27, 1953, and they enjoyed 65 years together.

She always felt very fortunate to have grown up with her sisters and brother, and as their families grew, loved all the time they spent together.

Patty enjoyed summers at Georgetown, shopping with her granddaughters, and her bridge club. She was the smiling secretary who greeted you at the Anaconda Catholic Community until she retired at age 80. Unfortunately, she watched her memories fade as Alzheimer's progressed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Mildred, brother Jimmy, sisters Peggy Stordahl and Helen Hancock, and brothers in law Bill Stordahl and Bill Burns.

Patty is survived by her husband Ray; sons Rich (Pam) Capp, Don (Donna) Capp; grandchildren, April (Zach) Fennelly, Michael Capp, Alicia (Cody) Tocher, Katie Capp and Kevin Capp; great grandchildren Emma and Adeline Fennelly; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Burns, Betty and Don Hogan, Dorothy and Steve Mandic, Sharon Heinen, Lynn Moran, and Larry Hancock; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Friday, May 17th. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 10:30.

Memorials preferred to Anaconda Catholic Community, 217 W. Pennsylvania Ave., Anaconda, MT 59711.
