Mary Huot Obituary
Mary T. Huot passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Anaconda Community Hospital. She was born on June 29, 1931 in Butte, MT to Bart and Nel Harrington. After Bart passed, Nel married Lyle Smith, Mary's step-father. Mary's brother Tom was born to Lyle and Nel.
Mary attended Butte schools and Butte Business College and worked at Metals Bank. She met the love of her life David L. Huot of Anaconda and they married on August 3rd, 1957. They raised two children in Anaconda.
Mary's hobbies were camping and taking rides. She loved crocheting, knitting and ceramics. Mary loved her beloved cat Snowball and spending time with Carol Strizich and grandkids.
She is survived by her son Dave Huot of Anaconda, daughter Mary Huot of Harlowton, grandchildren Hunter Huot of Anaconda and Ashley Huot of Harlowton and special friend Rosella Bouck.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, twin sister Joanne, husband David (1990), brother-in-law Ron Phillip (Anaconda), Nellie Huot (Helena), Tom and Janet Smith (Butte), sisters-in-law Betty Wyant (Anaconda), Norma Fitzgerald (Anaconda), and Joey and Ethel Huot (Ogden, UT).
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with one hour of visitation prior to the service. A luncheon will follow the service and Interment will be held at a later date.
