Lucille Lenzi Obituary
Lucille Ann (Hosking) Lenzi, 89, of Anaconda, passed away Wednesday, July 22, at the Community Hospital of Anaconda. She was born July 8, 1926, to Thomas and Mary Logan in Anaconda. She attended local schools, graduating from Anaconda Central. In 1947 Lou married the love of her life, Robert Hosking. They were together 48 years until he died in 1995. Several years later she married Earl Lenzi, a longtime friend of the family, on June 8, 2002.
Lou worked for Duvall's, Headstart, and at Galen before retiring. She loved her family and her friends, and was very proud of her Irish heritage and a devout Catholic. Lou also loved to play Pinochle, Uno Attack, Yatzee, and Poker with family. Many delightful memories will be treasured as we remember our dear wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was a true character, a joy to be around, and will be missed greatly by many.
She is survived by her husband, Earl, daughters Carol (Bill) Wind, and Luanne (Lance) Dye, stepchildren Robert (Jackie) Lenzi, Richard Lenzi, and Kay (Miguel) Gaston, grandchildren Scott (Jaimee) Wind, Camille (Jake) Erickson, Thomas (Candice) Wind, Katherine (James) Weist, and Sarah Dye. 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.
Lou was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, brother Tom Logan, sister Jeanne (Buller) Bishop, and son James.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 27, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Mount Olivet.
In lieu of flowers the family would like memorials sent to Shriners Hospital, P.O. Box 2472, Spokane, WA 99210-2472, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 100, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908 or a memorial of your choice.
