Larry Bolstad was at home in Philipsburg, Montana with family, when he passed unexpectedly at age 70 on Saturday, April 25th, 2020.
On July 19th, 1949, Larry was born in Idaho Falls, ID to Ruth and Harold Bolstad. In 1974, he married the love of his life, Ronnie, and eventually settled in Philipsburg, MT, where they remained happily married until his passing. Larry was a miner all of his life until suffering a spinal injury in the mines in 1991. Larry enjoyed playing card games, his favorites being pinochle, solitaire and cribbage. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping with his sons, and enjoyed taking his dog Aspen for walks while riding his six-wheeler.
Larry is survived by his wife Ronnie, sons, Jeremy and Bryan, grandchildren Sadie, Jordan, and Kyle, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Harold Bolstad, his sister, Wanda (Roy), brother Dick (Shirley) and brother Burdett (Linda).
A Celebration of his life will be held at a date to be announced later. Chris Burgmeier will officiate the celebration. All are welcome to attend and share a memory of Larry's Life.
