John Ginn Obituary

With heavy hearts we are saying goodbye to our Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend, John Delbert Ginn of Philipsburg, Mt. He left us too soon on May 2nd, 2016. John fought a long and hard batter with cancer.

John was born on April 11th, 1956. He is the oldest of three boys. John enjoyed life to the fullest.
He married the love of his life Kekey Rodriquez in 1976. They had two wonderful kids Jennifer and Johnathon. John worked hard as a carpenter to support his family. In 1983 John and Kekey were divorced.

If you look around Stevensville, Missoula, Drummond, Maxville, and Philipsburg, Montana you will see a lot of homes and or business that he had built and or remodeled.

John enjoyed every day up in the mountains. He would get up the crack of dawn (around 5) and drive down the mountain to have a cup of coffee with friends. He even had to wake some of them up sometimes to have coffee with them. He woke up every day to enjoy the day that Mother Nature had in store for him. The only time that he would not work on the outside of a house was when it was windy. So he would go up the mountain and cut firewood for the day. Some times while sitting on a four wheeler he would notice elk, deer, bears, or even moose cross his path, all he would do is watch and take in the enjoyment of life. If he was fast enough he would take a few photos to show his family and friends.
John never did leave home without his gun "Bummer Rang" and his Dog "Aurora". John loved his dog till she died in 2013. John loved and cherished his family and friends. He always said "Let's go for a four wheeler ride," or "let's go shoot some guns for the day". When his friends would stop by he would stand on his porch and say "Are we going on a four wheeler ride or having a beer today?" John helped everybody out, even if he did not know you. John was one that you could count on to get a job done. When he needed help it was hard for him to ask for help but he knew that he had friends that would be there to help him out.

John believed in hard work and treat everybody with respect. He enjoyed life to the fullest. John worked hard on all of his projects small or big to help out friends or family. Most of the time he just wanted to talk with friends. When he was working he believed work and then talk. John did not believe that a cell phone should be part of a job from 7a.m. till 5p.m. He thought they were a big distraction of any job. John enjoyed everything in life. Mostly he enjoyed his family and friends. Work is just work but family and friends will always be there. John will always been known as the "Mountain Man" to his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Jennifer (Seth) Robinson of Anaconda Montana, Son and daughter-in-law Johnathon (Jessica) Ginn of Arab, Alabama. Grandkids Christopher (Alissa) Robinson of Anaconda Montana, Ty Robinson of Anaconda Montana and Maverick Ginn of Arab Alabama. One Great Grandson William Robinson of Anaconda Montana.

John preceded in death by one brother, grandparents John and Esther Baker, His mother Clara Jean Baker Petri, Aunt and Uncle May and George Marshall, Uncle Melvin Marvin, Aunt Dorothy Sanders, Aunt Doris O'Neil, Aunt Annabelle Balli, Great Nephew and Father.
