Obituary for Jill Hauck
She was born September 1st, 1963 in Helena, MT to Maurice and Jeanette Smith, and was raised in Elkhorn Montana with her sisters Virginia, Lori and her brother Morch. She loved being raised in Elkhorn where she and her sisters and brother had many great adventures.
Jill enjoyed camping, 4-wheeling, horseback riding, and animals of all kinds, and she raised and loved many pets of her own. Jill's greatest joy in life, however, was being surrounded by and spending time with family and friends.
Jill married the love of her life, Brad Hauck, May 15, 2004, in New Brighton, Minnesota, and spent the next ten years living life to the fullest with him, her best friend
Jill was a joyful, unique spirit who left a lasting impression on everyone who met her.
Jill is preceded in death by her father Maurice Smith, and half - sisters Loretta Boone, Judith Baker, Marie Benjamin, and Janet Ritchie.
Jill is survived by her husband Brad of Anaconda, Mother Jeanette Smith of Boulder, sisters Virginia DeMers of Boulder, Lori (Mike) Perkio of Butte; brother Morch (Maurice) Smith (Gretchen Mayes) of East Helena; brother-in-law Mike DeMers of Wickes, and half-sister Julie Evans of East Helena. She is also survived by her Father-in- law and Mother-in-law Larry and Kathy Hauck, Mother-in-law Lara Bolander, brother-in-law Scott Hauck, brother-in-law Glenn (Lisa) Hauck, all of Minnesota; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles, and many friends.
Jill's optimism and love of life was contagious to those around her and she would want us all to live happy, fulfilling lives. Never slow down- never give up!
In accordance with her wishes, Jill was cremated, and will be interred at a later time.
Jill died on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the Community Hospital of Anaconda.
Memorials are preferred to the National Kidney Foundation, or your local Humane Society.
Memorial services will be Saturday, September 20th, at 2:00 p.m., at Longfellow Riddle Finnegan Funeral Home at 107 Oak Street, Anaconda MT, with reception to follow at the American Legion Hall 220 Cedar Street Anaconda MT.
