Frances was born September 4, 1932 to Joe and Helen Kopp in Anaconda, Montana. Frances went to St. Peter's Grade School. After school, she worked at the Elk's Club for many years and then the Park Café, Copper Bowl and Donivan's.
Fran liked to go out dancing with her good friend Nick Reiss who was always by her side and helped her for many years. She also liked to shop and clean her house because she said you never know who might come and see you. Fran always remembered her trip to Hawaii, when she retired, and her many times in a plane just to get there. She always had something funny to say and laugh about.
Fran is preceded in death by her mom and dad, her brother's Mike, Peter, John and sister Katie Friez.
She is survived by her son Ed, grandchildren Ryan and Jenny, and one great grandchild Tatyana.
She was a beloved aunt to many special nieces and nephews who she loved so very much.
A special thank you to all the people in my mom's life who helped her out through her time here with us all. A very special thanks to Helen Reiss for many years of helping my mother and Mike Kopp as well.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the Longfellow Finnegan Riddle Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. The Rosary Service will be at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Vigil at 7:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on June 8, 2017 at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with a reception following at Holy Family Catholic Church. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the St. Peter's Restoration Fund, 217 W. Pennsylvania Ave., Anaconda, MT 59711.
