Ellen Hurlbut Obituary
Ellen Hurlbut was born on October 21, 1945 in Monroe, Wisconsin to Stewart and Katherine (Schindler) Hurlbut. She was the oldest of three girls.
Ellen grew up in Butte and graduated from Butte High School in 1963. She then attended MSU Bozeman and graduated in 1967 with a Degree in Commerce.
Ellen worked at Montana Tech for 8 years and then moved to San Diego, CA and lived and worked out there for 6 years. She later moved back to Butte and then lived in Augusta, GA and Killeen, TX with her sister Elizabeth. She moved to Anaconda in August of 2003 and has resided here until the time of her death.
Ellen died on Sunday, May 01, 2016 of cancer at the Community Nursing Home of Anaconda.
Ellen is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Hurlbut Stead of Grovetown, GA.
Ellen was preceded in death by her parents Stewart and Katherine and her younger sister, Anne Hurlbut St Clare.
Per her request there will be no funeral or service.
