Del enjoyed hunting, salmon fishing and deep sea fishing on the coast.

Del retired in 1997 from the Anaconda Water Company after 25 years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1960. He was also a member of the DAV for 40 years.

Del leaves behind his loving wife Jeanette, his daughter Rhonda and her husband John Taylor, his grandchildren Dustin and Lindsay Taylor, of Alaska, and Teneille and Aaron Comings, of Washington, great-grandchildren Clark and Tailynn, of Alaska, Whitney, and Kayden and Danni, of Washington, his brother and sister-in-law Don and Pat Tiedemann, of Butte, MT, sister and brother-in-law Audrey and Bob Lindsay, of Great Falls, MT, and sister-in-law Cherie Massett, of Anaconda, as well as several nieces and nephews and their spouses.

Del was preceded in death by his son Arthur Fredrick Tiedemann, his parents Arthur and Pauline, his brother Bill and his two sisters Dorothy McKernan and Eliene Jones.

Del's daughter Rhonda held a Birthday celebration in July for her mom and dad. All the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, plus family and friends attended.

If you have a memory of Del, remember that as his last few years of Alzheimer's, he did not remember you.

At his request, there will only be a private family service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Scleroderma Foundation or the Lung Association.
