Memorial Letter for Dawson Allen Tonkin
Dawson Allen Tonkin was born to his loving parents, Devin and Katlin Tonkin at 0803 on January 2nd, 2018. He was perfectly made, and resembled his handsome daddy just as his mommy had hoped for through their splendid pregnancy. Dawson was loved and celebrated by his family and beloved friends from the moment he was conceived. His parents wish to extend gratitude to all who provided support during pregnancy. The Tonkin family could not have wished for more generous gifts to fill his nursery and prepare his mommy and daddy for parenthood. Through exciting belly changes and heartfelt activity, he brought his mommy and daddy insuperable joy with each growing day. He certainly felt the love and thrill his parents had at the prospect of his life blessing theirs. Mommy wanted a mini Devin, and his little soul proved that was the plan. We will always ponder what it would have been like to be part of his ongoing life on earth. We will honor his memory each day of the rest of our lives; our sweet, beautiful, baby boy. Due to factors beyond his control, Dawson left us the same day he entered this world. He was surrounded by his loved ones, and blessed by Father McCallum. He is proceeded in death by his uncle Jeremy Allen Davis, who we believe is holding him in Heaven. We also want to extend our gratitude for the support our loved ones and community are offering during our grief. Dawson touched many lives in the time he spent with us. We can find some peace knowing that such an incredible soul was sent to bless our lives. If only we could keep him.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 17th, 2018 at Longfellow Funeral Home in Anaconda at 11:00 a.m. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. Following the service, there will be a balloon release at the Tonkin family home, 122 Howe St., Anaconda, by the fire pit.
