Aloma Campbell Obituary

Aloma R. Campbell was born on April 24, 1943 to parents Howard & Roda Edna Campbell of Anaconda, Montana. She was the youngest of three daughters born to Mr. & Mrs. Campbell. Aloma's sisters Nancy & Thoda were all raised together in the Anaconda/Opportunity areas. Aloma being the "baby" of the family quickly became a daddy's girl and she loved both parents equally however, her love for her daddy was unbreakable. Both of Aloma's parents worked to provide for the three girls. Mother Edna at Warm Springs State Hospital and father Howard was a trapper for the State of Montana. Aloma had a happy childhood and relished being the baby in the family.

Aloma stayed in the community until she became a mother herself to daughter Dennice and later moved to Malta where baby boy Donald was born. Although, raising a young family of her own in the Malta area, Aloma eventually returned to her home in Opportunity to be near her parents & family, where she remained for the majority of her life.

Aloma took on many roles in her life. Wife, mother, stepmother, sister and later in her years, grandmother and great grandmother.

A lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Aloma had a passion for the genealogy program within the church. She was responsible for compiling an impressive family tree for the Campbell family as well as an extensive history for many of her relatives & friends. Aloma was proud of her Scottish heritage & lineage.

In addition to her genealogy work, Aloma enjoyed painting and chalking ceramics. She especially loved ceramic dolls and intricately crafted them with joy. She also found interest in knitting, crocheting and some quilting.

Aloma loved a cold Pepsi on a hot summer afternoon, a nap and spending time at home with her family and a good game of pinochle.

Among her immediate and extended family, "little grandma" will be missed. She is survived by many nieces & nephews, as well as her son Donald. Grandchildren include: Destine Tolon & wife Tonya. His children, Dylan, Noah, Colin & Ellyanah. Granddaughter Deven Carapinha & husband Carlos. Their children, Marlie Davidson, Kylie, Kodi & Jacob Carapinha. Grandson Kannon Hawke & wife Jen. Grandson Kameron Christofferson & wife Cambria. Their children Kennedi and Connor. Granddaughter Nova White and her daughter WillowRay.

Aloma was preceded in death by her parents Edna and Howard, her sisters Nancy and Thoda, her daughter Dennice and her granddaughter Willow.

Aloma was called home to heaven January 17, 2020 and she disliked goodbye, so we say to you grandma, until next time...we love you.
