Alice Kiehn Obituary

Alice V. Kiehn passed away Sunday peacefully in the comfort of her home with her loving and dedicated husband by her side.

Alice was born in Anaconda October 30, 1927 to Michael and Mary Blodnick. She attended the local schools and graduated from Anaconda Central. Following graduation, she worked in retail until meeting the love of her life and partner of almost 60 years, Albert E. Kiehn in 1954. She enjoyed fishing, camping, puzzles, taking long ride just to see the beautiful scenery that Montana has to offer, but mostly just being around her family.

They moved from Anaconda to Opportunity in 1960 where they raised their four children; Michael, Pauline, Ronald and Sharon. She devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren, also touching the hearts of every child she met. Alice was very kind, loving, caring and the most unselfish person.

For the past 9 years she had suffered from NHD which left her immobile, but with the help of her loving husband and main caregiver she was able to get out and enjoy what she loved, being outdoors, for the past 5 years she was unable to but knew she always had her dedicated husband with her and never leaving her side.

Alice is survived by her husband Albert E. Kiehn, sons and daughters-in-law Michael (Mary) Kiehn, Ronald (Tammara) Kiehn, daughters Pauline Kiehn, and Sharon (Joe) Mihelic. Grandchildren, Stacy, Alisha, Bradley, Benjamin, Greg, Bryan, Christopher, Myranda, Alex, Cortney, Kristy, and Joey. Great grandchildren, Brantly, Greg, Justice, Reece, Wynn, Jade, Valon, and Aurelia. Sister and brother-in-law Regina (Richard) Greany, Aunt Adelaide Burdett and sister-in-law Donna Kiehn as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Alice was preceded in death by her father and mother, brothers Vincent, Fred and Edward and sister Marjorie Rogers.

She is now at peace and will truly be miss by all that knew her.

In accordance with her requests, cremation has taken place.

Alice's celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 13th at 11:00 a.m., at Longfellow Finnegan Riddle Funeral Home. At her request, burial will be at a later date.
