Shannon Schimming Obituary

Shannon K. Schimming (Gallinger), born February 22, 1960 in Renton, Washington, passed away December 25, 2016 to spend Christmas in heaven with her daughter Nicole Miranda, mother Helen Warinski and father Vance Dean Gallinger.

Shannon was a beloved daughter, mother, grandma, wife, aunt and best friend to many. She was raised in Butte where she attended Butte High School. She married her husband Paul E. Schimming on May 1, 1993 and gave him five wonderful children from a previous marriage. She gave Paul 23 plus years of a fantastic marriage and life.

Shannon worked at the Trade Winds Motel for a few years and then went on to work at Warm Springs State Hospital as a Psych Tech until a heart attack forced her to take an early retirement.

Shannon is survived by her husband Paul E. Schimming, children Amanda and Bert Marry, Phillip Weist, Hollie Weist, and Bennett and Amanda Gallinger. Grandchildren Genevieve Fasbender, Zandra Gallinger, Ian Gallinger, Tyson Obenauer, Quentin Obenauer and Seamus Smith. Siblings Nina Petersfield, Twila Harr, Vance Gallinger. Brothers and Sisters-in law James and Paula Schimming, Thomas Lee, Rose Ann Schimming and Lorraine Schimming and many more family and friends.

Shannon's children and grandchildren were her pride and meant the world to her. She enjoyed sewing, reading, spending time with family and traveling. She really enjoyed going to Navy Nuclear Weapons Reunions with Paul.
